Scope of Work

Abu Dhabi Ports Group awarded the Khalifa Port South Quaywall Expansion works to NMDC D&M in 2019. The purpose of this project was to add 3.5km of additional quaywall length to the existing port area in preparation of receiving more ships to the port.

Workscope included: * Dredging & Reclamation (15 million m3) * Deepening of main channel * Construction of Gravity Quaywall 3,500m to -19m and 1,000m to -16m * Installation of 2,900m Sheet Piling Works.

NMDC ensured no interference with live port operations.
