    Renewable energy is a key area of expansion for NMDC Group. We are proud to support the energy transition, investing in existing technologies, and exploring new clean energy opportunities.

    We strive to minimize wildlife disturbance through our operations and hold ourselves to account through regular audits. We also take part in initiatives to protect biodiversity, as evidenced in our Habitat Compensation Island project which saw us plant 350,000 mangrove seedlings.

    We are committed to addressing the climate crisis – contributing to low carbon energy projects, investing in carbon capture and storage, and adapting infrastructure to have a lower impact, and greater resilience.

    We work hard to limit the environmental impact of our operations through responsible waste management, investing in robust waste management systems, in-depth staff training, and project-specific waste management plans to reduce our output and manage unavoidable waste sustainably.
